If you’re angling for a prize catch,
get ready to make your Tall tales come true.
Our 12” Monster Grub is the largest on the market. It’s fat body and ribbed design displace big volumes of water as it trails through the currents. Water displacement signals that food is near, while the vibrations caused by the ribs mimic flailing prey.

What to Fish ?
A Master Fisherman With a Passion for the Perfect Bait
BigTales Baits owner Will Lee says fishing is “everything”—there’s nothing else like the tug on the line and the thrill of the fight. Fishing means laughter with friends and that cherished moment when you land your first catch.
Jig fishing is Will’s favorite, a pastime he’s enjoyed for decades. He saw a need on the market for bait that would stand up to the Big One in deep-sea fishing. So, he toiled for 18 months perfecting different formulas before he was finally satisfied with the BigTales Baits lure.
Will’s philosophy is simple: “It’s a blast to feel that take-down when you’re fighting a big one. I’m just a passionate fisherman trying to help people catch more fish.”
Ideal for Sport, Bottom & JIG.
These injection-molded plastic baits are specially ribbed to produce extra vibrations—they displace a ton of water, sending out enticing signals to any fish in the area that it's dinner time. Once the fish draw near, the natural shape and color of the bait are instantly recognized as prey.
The curly-tailed design is dynamic—it can imitate a baitfish or a worm, depending on your needs. If you're sports fishing, reel it in steadily so the curly tail rotates fast. Nearby fish will notice the stirring water and move in to strike. If you're bottom fishing, it can imitate a worm. Jig it up and down so the curly end rotates more slowly, like a wriggling worm.
Ideal For Lingcod, Halibut, & Rockfish
BigTales Baits are designed to stand up to even the biggest predator species. Lingcod, known as the “pit bulls of the sea,” will even try to swallow a fish their own size—they're attracted to the bigger prey. 12” grubs are a big draw to world-class lingcod. Our baits are also well-suited to rockfish, which put up a fight that only a tough bait can handle. Try them on halibut and other saltwater species, too.
